Kids on Bikes! One Shot: Polybius II - Electric Bugaboo
Date: Thursday October 5th
Time: 5:30 - 9:30pm
Cost: $15
Location: Bard & Baker Troy, 501 Broadway, Troy, NY
Join GM Alex and your fellow rad ‘80s teens as you dive into the realm of suburban legend with nothing but your bikes, your backpacks and a few fistfuls of quarters!
The Circle K has had the same 3 arcade cabinets as long as any kid can remember. Word going around school though is that a new game got dropped off last night by a bunch of people in suits and a black van.
Someone heard it scans your thumbs before you can play. A nerd in AV said its graphics are so beautifully advanced, people weep. Another kid heard a senior is out sick today because it “ basically turned their spinal cord into a mozzarella stick!”
With rumors and excitement bouncing around the school, one thing is clear: when the last bell rings the race is on to see the truth of Polybius II.
The game session will begin with a brief introduction to the rules of Kids on Bikes for those that are new to the game or might need a quick refresher. Pre-generated characters will be provided as well as dice, so no need to create your own characters ahead of time!
Seats are limited so RSVP here to save your spot! Seating begins at 5:30pm to grab food, drink and settle in before the game begins at 6:00 PM.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
