Friendsgiving : Succulent Terrarium Workshop

  • Bard & Baker Board Game Cafe 501 Broadway, Suite 105 Troy, NY 12180 USA (map)

Gather your people and build an 7" lily bowl full of succulents, warm autumn tones, and harvest details. Two hours in Troy's board game café, everything provided, and it comes home with you the same day

What you'll build

Grab a table with your people, put your hands in the dirt, and spend a Sunday afternoon making something together. Nobody's rushing you, nobody's grading you, and there's a thousand board games on the shelves for after.

You'll build a succulent terrarium in a 7" glass lily bowl. Wide and open with a flared rim, so it sits low on a table and everything inside is visible from every seat around it. Fill it with succulents in warm autumn tones, greens and rusts and deep burgundies, then moss, stone, and harvest details.

This is the one that ends up in the middle of your Friendsgiving table. No two leave the same.

Your seat includes

🫙 Your 7" glass lily bowl
🌵 Succulents, hand-picked at the table
🪨 Soil, drainage, and preserved moss
🍂 Autumn and harvest accents
🌿 Hands-on instruction from a Planter instructor
✨ Every tool you need, nothing to bring
📖 A care guide so it actually survives

Good to know

Bard & Baker is the Capital District's first board game café, tucked into the historic Troy Record Building with over a thousand games on the shelves. Stay after and play something. Food and drinks available for purchase.

Grab your friends, grab a table, and make something together. Beginners are the whole point, so if you've killed every plant you've ever owned, you're in the right room.

Seating is limited and we cap every workshop so everyone gets real one-on-one time.

📍 501 Broadway, Suite 105, Troy NY.

Free street and garage parking on weekends in the 5th Avenue garage across the street.
