The Starship Idyllic is making her proud return to your galaxy on Saturday, September 5th! This immersive, ticketed event will transport you to an out-of-this-world experience onboard a luxury class hospitality starship, inspired by a galaxy far, far away…
This year, the Starship Idyllic is hosting the first ever Orion-Cygnus Division Sabacc tournament! As this game is very new to your galaxy, lessons will be provided at the event as you’ll be prepared for the tournament.
During the evening, there will be themed drinks & passed hor d’oeuvres, interactive story & gaming elements, a charity raffle and access to Bard & Baker’s impressive library of 1,000+ board games.
There will be delightfully Star Wars themed off-planet drinks & passed hors d’oeuvres. Dress up in your best galactic inspired formal wear & enjoy an evening with new friends & old, for a night you will never forget!
There will be an optional interactive roleplay element for folks interested in participating in the nights event.
Ticket holders will receive an email from their Captain Monday, August 3rd to confirm passenger details allowing guests to immerse themselves as a character aboard the flight of the Starship Idyllic.
There is no requirement to join in & you may absolutely come just for the good vibes, food & drinks. Guests may change their level of involvement at the event, so you can adjust to your comfort level as the evening unfolds.
Tickets are required to attend this event & all ages are welcome. Tickets include all you can eat passed hors d’oeuvres. Drinks available at an additional cost the night of. There will be plenty of themed cocktails & mocktails available as well as the standard Bard & Baker drink menu.
Doors open at 7:30 pm and the event goes until 11:00 pm. Join us on Saturday September 5th at 7:30 PM for an out of this galaxy night filled with good vibes from one of the universes’ favorite franchises!

Do I have to dress up?
You don’t have to, but costumes are encouraged!
What should I wear?
As this event is inspired by a well known galaxy far, far away, we encourage guests to dress with a certain sci-fi fantasy flair. A more formal interpretation is recommended due to the gala theme, but not required.
What does my ticket include?
Tickets include admission to the event, Sabacc lessons & tournament access, passed small plates of food throughout the night, dessert, participation in interactive elements if desired, and access to all board games in Bard and Baker’s game library.
What is the interactive game element?
Designed just for the Galactic Gala, there will be an interactive, optional game that runs continuously throughout the night. Players will use their access card (name tag) to collect points at different stations. Some of these require the completion of a task (like a puzzle or game) while others will need to be found by players. The game itself ties into the story of the Starship Idyllic’s sailing, and a prize will be awarded to the highest scoring player!
Do I have to participate in the interactive elements?
Story and gameplay participation are completely optional. Guests will be able to select markers on their badge to denote their comfort in participation - GREEN for participation, YELLOW for unsure/please ask and RED for not participating. (This can be changed at any time during the evening by changing the sticker on your badge, if needed.)
How do I know someone is a character instead of a guest?
All non-player characters (NPC) will be marked with a unique name badge with their name.
