Join Dungeon Master Alex and learn to play the world's most famous role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.

In this workshop session we will begin by introducing you to the basics as you choose a character, discuss the basics of roleplaying, and learn the core mechanics of the game through gameplay.

Choose a pre-generated character from the selection and get rolling in a brief introductory adventure with new friends. The session will last from 3 to 3 ½ hours and give you a taste of what the adventures to be had.

Whether you’re inspired by watching actual plays like Dimension 20 or Critical Role, videos games like Baldur’s Gate 3 or just looking for a refresher on the new rules, this is the session for you.

Do I need to bring anything? Nope. Everything you need to play will be provided by Dungeon Master Alex at the table. You are encouraged to bring along your own dice and note taking materials.

This session is designed for players ages 16+. This game will use the most recently released Players Handbook and the 5.5 (2024) updated ruleset.
